I will start by writing to the Court House in McHenry Co., IL, to see what they can find for me on the piece of land. I just need to know if it is my John Schmitt or someelse's John Schmitt.
Update, finally the courthouse at McHenry County, Illinois responded and the land that I though was John Schmitt label as John Smith, is his land.
